This piece was commissioned by Page Waterman Gallery of Wellesley Massachusetts for the 100 year anniversary of Wellesley's Town Hall. Way back In the seventies, I attended Dana Hall, a girl's prep. school in Wellesley. It's possible, (please don't tell Mom,) I played hooky there to "study" for exams with a few of my class mates. When my old friend Sturdy Waterman contacted me to consider this commission, it felt like it was meant to be. It certainly was an intriguing challenge with all those towers and stone edifices! The Wellesley town Hall is 22"x16" and painted with colored pencils.
